A top client is searching for an experienced Sr. Director of Finance in the Tampa, FL market. The Sr. Director of Finance will lead and manage financial activities for the organization while focusing on acquisition integration. This role involves overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and post-acquisition integration processes. As the Sr. Director, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient integrations while maintaining financial performance and compliance with healthcare regulations.
As the Sr. Director of Finance, your responsibilities include: - Financial Integration Leadership:
- Oversee financial integration activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
- Lead integration planning, Ensure smooth transitions across accounting, revenue cycle, and payroll.
- Monitor and improve financial reporting and control processes during the integration phase.
- Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Planning:
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive financial integration plans, including detailed budgets, forecasts, and timelines for the combined entity.
- Monitor and manage financial performance during the integration process to ensure that operational and financial targets are met.
- Provide regular financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting integration progress and identifying areas for financial improvement.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a liaison between finance and other departments (e.g., operations, IT, HR) to ensure seamless coordination during integration.
- Present financial updates and integration status reports to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Post-Acquisition Monitoring:
- Track post-acquisition performance and financial outcomes, ensuring that integration objectives are met.
- Conduct financial assessments and audits post-integration to identify areas for continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
To be successful in the role you must possess: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance, including 5+ years in a healthcare finance or M&A environment, with a strong focus on acquisition integrations.
- Proven track record of managing large, complex integration projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, reimbursement models, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day financial operations during integration.
