Job Description

• Basic framing, drywall (hang, tape and finish), cabinetry/tops, trim/base, painting. 
• Basic electrical: light fixture, ceiling fans, replace ballast, outlet, switches, wire dishwasher, wire garbage disposal. 
• Basic plumbing: kitchen and bath faucets, toilet (install new or repair).


Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Receive daily work orders.
• Perform on-going repair and maintenance work as requested or required.
• Participate in company training classes/courses and meetings as required.
• Perform all other duties assigned by property manager and/or maintenance supervisor.
• Communicate daily to service provider supervisor any job requirements, materials needed and work requiring special needs or assistance.
• Purchase materials as needed for maintenance.
• Utilize company forms, door hangers, manual work orders, automated work orders, purchase orders.
• Assist in tasks required to get an apartment in “make ready” condition.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
