Job Description

Our client, a leading alternative asset management firm is looking for a Data Optimization Specialist to support the Real Estate arm of the business, who are responsible for creating data to inform decisions around high-value budgets associated with building amenities and developments. This involves planning and optimizing the utilization of spaces, facilities, and resources across various global locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Synthetic Studios to architect and structure data sources.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decisions on building amenities, such as conference rooms, elevators, and restrooms.
  • Manually pull and optimize data sets with flawed data for accurate decision-making.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and reports to senior management.
  • Work on optimizing data models to produce answers for various decision-making scenarios.
  • Facilitate the migration of data to the cloud when appropriate.
  • Ensure data security and restricted access to proprietary data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data optimization and working with large data sets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data interpretation and delivering actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with third-party tools for data collection (e.g., sensors, smart building toolsets).
  • Understanding of data architecture and structure.
  • Experience in working with proprietary data systems and ensuring data security.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in real estate or building services industry.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions and SaaS.
