We are seeking to hire a (Senior) Computational Biologist (Scientific Manager) for our Boston offices (Cambridge / hybrid).

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced (Senior) Computational Biologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computational biology and data analysis, with expertise in R/Python and RNASeq. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing computational projects, as well as communicating findings to stakeholders.

Who are we looking for?

• You either hold a PhD degree in the domain of bioscience engineering, bioinformatics, statistical data analysis and have at least 3+ years of industry work experience. You can demonstrate your experience in computational biology via peer-reviewed publications, contributions to public code repositories or relevant project work
• Expert knowledge of at least one of the following fields is a must: RNAseq (bulk and long-reads (PacBio, Nanopore), Single cell RNAseq (including scATAC, CITEseq), spatial transcriptomics, WES/WGS, methylation by NGS seq, …
• You have in-depth knowledge of R or Python and Linux command line
• Knowledge of statistic and experimental design is highly desirable
• You can plan, organize and execute a computational project independently, communicating effectively with stakeholders along every step of the way, being guided by your team lead or program manager
• You are able to summarize large amounts of results in a concise way, and effectively present them to clients within and outside your domain.
• You act as a mentor for junior team members, help them level-up their technical and communication skills with constructive feedback.
• You can manage multiple projects at the same time, effectively (re)assigning tasks
• You are eligible to work and live in USA
