Job Opening: Bodily Injury Adjuster/Property Adjuster

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Bodily Injury adjuster or examiner specializes in handling insurance claims related to personal injuries, investigating the facts, assessing damages, negotiation of settlement and determining coverage.
Injuries are sustained in car accidents. 

• Experience investigating the facts of the accident or incident. (MV104 , police report, verbal statements, scene photos, witness’ and review of vehicle photos.)
• Audit coverage letters, estimates, etc.
• 3 years minimum property and casualty (bodily injury) experience. Be able to assess the extent of injuries and damages. 
• Determine policy coverage and liability. 
• Draft appropriate coverage letters if necessary.
• Review damage photos and estimates.
• Obtain and review complex medical records and other relevant documents in order to evaluate value of claim.
• Understand insurance policies for UM/UIM claims.
• Timely review of reserves and monitoring for accurate assessment.
• Review and response to time limit demands when necessary.
• Prepare for and deliver quality presentations of high exposure cases to upper management.
• Skillfully negotiate claims with plaintiffs and attorneys.
• Assign suits to counsel for handling.
• Review case strategy once in suit including depositions, IME’s and medical records.
• Familiarity with venues - 
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment.

• Manages an inventory of claims to evaluate liability.
• Investigate the facts of the accident or incident. (MV104, police report, verbal statements, scene photos, witness’ , estimates and review of vehicle photos.)
• Establishes action plan based on case facts, best practices, protocols, regulatory issues and available resources.
• Plans and conducts investigations of claims to confirm coverage and to determine liability, and damages.
• Establish reserves and consistently review for reassessment if needed.
• Assesses actual damages associated with claims and conducts negotiations, within assigned authority limits, to settle claims.
• Auto experience is a must.

• Compensation: $70,000 -$90,000 plus benefits.
