Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Deputy Director, Human Resources, the Assistant Deputy Director (ADD), Field Operations and Activation Support, through subordinate staff, is responsible for all day to day field Human Resources (HR) activities and serves as a key executive on the HR team to develop staffing policies and protocols and responsible for ensuring excellent customer service is provided to the field staff who are in the area of HR including expedited hiring and the processing of administrative payroll and benefits.  The incumbent will be responsible for the oversight and direction of HR activities including the development of all HR related policies and procedures for personnel office teams and staff providing services to incarcerated patients.  This position requires some travel.

The position(s) is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required.  The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
